ST Joseph’s Bowling Club in Antrim have brought another hugely enjoyable Summer Fun Bowls season to a close with a lively and well-supported competition night, welcoming bowlers from across Antrim and beyond.

The Club’s much-loved summer programme once again showed the very best of local community spirit, bringing together experienced players and newcomers for weeks of friendly matches, shared laughter, and great encouragement.

During the closing competition evening, winners in both the Cup and Plate sections were proudly presented with their prizes, providing a fitting celebration of a season filled with fun, fellowship, and friendly rivalry.

The Club are grateful to John McMaster, one of their participating bowlers, for taking the official photographs.

The strength of the Fun Bowls programme lies in the wonderful support of local bowlers and neighbouring clubs.

Their enthusiasm helps make the event one of the most welcoming, inclusive, and sociable sporting gatherings locally.

St Joseph’s now looks forward with optimism to October, when the competition bowling season begins.

The Club warmly welcomes new members, whether seasoned bowlers or complete beginners, and encourages anyone interested to come along, give the sport a try, and become part of a growing, friendly bowling community.
