Win for Randalstown Rugby Club first team over Coleraine
Triumphant return after washout weekend
After a washout last weekend thanks to Storm Boelo, Randalstown were back in action at home as they welcomed Coleraine for the next round of Championship 2.
Despite missing a few players due to injury and unavailability, Randalstown were out seeking a win. Thankfully the Halloween match up proved all treat and no tricks, with Randalstown securing a 5-try bonus point win, including two tries from David McWhirter.
There were lots of strong performances across the squad to put randalstown into a strong position heading into next weekends game away to third placed Lisburn. The final score was Randalstown 33-7 Coleraine.
On Sunday Randalstown Women made the trip up to Belfast Harlequins for a Championship A match-up. In a game plagued by stoppages and injuries, it was hard for either side to gain momentum, with the score remaining 0-0 at half time. Randalstown came close to scoring quite a few times throughout the match, but unfortunately never quite made it across the line. The final score was Harlequins 15-0 Randalstown
